The Innovators’ Pitch 2016 was all about the Internet of Things, Digital Health and Mobility. More than 100 startups from 15 countries applied for the competition. Nine finalists presented their company to the jury and a huge audience live on stage.

Medicus from Vienna, Austria / Dubai, UAE presented the most convincing contribution in the Digital Health category: Medicus developed an app that displays blood test results in a way that is easy for all patients to understand. Machine learning also enables the Medicus app to interpret all medical findings in real time, assess risks and provide health tips.
Synfioo from Potsdam, Germany finished in first place in the Mobility category. Synfioo provides complete transport monitoring to minimise the impact of disturbances such as traffic jams, strikes or blockades. The Synfioo platform pools all of the available data on individual types of transport. Logisticians can then call up and work with this data in their usual work environments.
Skysense from Berlin, Germany / Trento, Italy won the Internet of Things category: Skysense provides automated drone inspections as a service that does not require any human intervention. The Italian founders developed a unique solution that is compatible with most of the professional drones nowadays on the market and able to address application-specific requirements.
